Good evening felinity assembled, Sneakers the Texian Tuxedo here and I've got quite a tale to tell.
Last Monday morning Daddy Kiril took little Friday on her first stroll.
On this stroll they walked from the apartment to a nearby gas station.
Along the way they encountered a couple of the strays in our complex.
They then walked down busy Beechnut Street; an excursion that, due to all the cars, caused Friday to dive for cover under the mat in the carrier.
Brave, curious, girl that she is she crawled out before they reached the gas station.
That's not all that happened, though; the most interesting thing occurred minutes after they left the apartment and before they met the cats...
They saw a Blue Pit Bull tied to a pole next to a parking lot and one of the apartment buildings!
Daddy saw it for the first time Sunday but assumed it's human was in one of the apartments so went on to work.
Tuesday morning the dog was gone but, as daddy took the trash to the dumpster he saw a young woman with the dog and a bowl of kibble.
She said her boyfriend, who lives in our complex, went to tell management about the dog and that she was going to take it home with her.
Daddy followed up by letting the office know that if anyone came looking for "their" dog they should be given the contact info for the boyfriend since the woman took the dog with her.
That's the last we heard of the situation and send purrs and purrayers to the poor dog.

Now for a message from Elvira Mistress of Felinity
As your humans are aware, and you may be, too, something terrible happened in Paris, France on Friday the 13th of November.
Lots of humans were killed and hurt by some very, very bad men.
There have been troubles in Europe, where France is, and in the Middle East, where Israel is, for many months, even years (but especially this year)...Not all Humans are nice, like the ones you and I live with and this is very bad news for our pet blogging friends in Israel, Great Britain and all over Europe.
Wanting to show our solidarity and support, in the aftermath of the events in Paris, I used the French Script font and red white and blue (the colors of the French flag) in a few of the above images.
These bad Humans are much, much worse than any Vishus Deer, my friends, and they could bring their behavior to the shores of America.
I encourage felinity assembled to keep watch and alert your Humans if you see something suspicious...and encourage your Human to read these articles, watch the video and share this blog post.
This thing called "terrorism" affects us all...Human and Companion Animal alike.

Very sad about Paris and everywhere these bad things happen daily. Friday had quite an adventure on that walk. I wish I could adopt those strays and I am glad someone is helping the poor dog too.

So unbelievable. I can't understand and I feel for all those affected by what happened in Paris. Also glad you check on that gorgeous pitty. Hope he's better taken care of in the future. Thanks for joining in the Pet Parade this week
