Elvira Mistress of Felinity here!
I got word, this evening, that Samantha could not host the carnival, over at the "New" Tuxedo Gang Hideout.
When she and her human tried to use Chandra's daughter's computer, they couldn't make it work!
For us Cat Bloggers the Carnival is a chance to discover blogs we might never have heard of, on subjects of all kinds!

Speaking of Miss Mog...Please stop by with the Power of the Purr...Give her lots of purrs and purrayers as she is soon to face more eye surgery.
She is a human who, as many of you know, has done so much for the cat blogging community and she needs our love and support.
It is actually a needed follow-up to recent, related, surgery, as she explained on her blog over the last few months, and this month:
"I have posterior capsular opacification so will get YAG laser capsulotomy in a couple months when it is safe to do so. Lens has to be sealed in or it will shift. No new glasses until after that.
I knew the complications of cataract surgery which I got going in, seeing as there was a 20% chance of getting PCO. The PCO acts like a cataract only instead of taking years to go blind, it takes months. Saw the doc yesterday, no need to see the other one until after the surgery which I obviously need as vision is even worse and will have in a couple weeks. One eye is ready, month later other one will be too.
Funny, although my vision is worse than after the surgery, it is better than it was before. Won’t take long for that to change why I am having surgery soon. Providing insurance approves it which I see no reason why it wouldn’t."
Stop by this post to share the love and learn about "The 50 Most Influential Cats" online or go to the blog of her cat, Ritzi.
Daddy Kiril is honored to have recently been asked by her to help with the Carnival home website, as needed. He believes it is a priviledge and a great responsibility.
Now, on with the carnival...

Thanks so much for the mention - and purrs to Mog! And purrs to your human too for his own health issues.

Thanks for hosting when Samantha couldn't. I can always count on you. And special thanks for thinking of me and my eye issues. And updating the Carnival site.
Thanks everyone for your well wishes. I am hoping for the best here. Even this procedure has complications but it needs to be done.
