Good afternoon felinity assembled, Elvira Mistress of felinity here!
This is the start of a new day for us and for Daddy Kiril.
In November 2010 Daddy Kiril & Nikita made a downloadable flier and 6 page Powerpoint presentation (featuring me!) to spread the word, online and via snail mail about this blog.
Sadly, nobody noticed, or responded, that he can remember...
Things were different then: pet blogging was not on the radar of a lot of rescues and shelters (still isn't for many) and the pet industry was finally taking the community seriously.
Daddy Kiril has had a lot on his mind lately, about the future (as shared here: The Coming of the Mad Houstonian - A Poem), and he and I chatted this past week. One thing we discussed was a re-imagined flier and we set about putting it together. Then I remembered the Powerpoint version and asked daddy if we could re-imagine that as well.
We need to come up with ideas and action steps to take us forward, despite the difficult times we find ourselves in.
Learning to organize and edit 12 years of material for future...um, heh, but I'll leave that to daddy to discuss elsewhere.
A new flier and new Powerpoint are good places to start. They get us to step out of our comfort zones for the first time in a long time.
While we can't afford to send fliers out by snail mail for a while, using email to reach out and say hello is a start and might get better results than 4 years ago.
Change and moving forward has been a part of the life of Daddy Kiril, personally and creatively, since he first went online in 1998. and a part of his, Nikita's and my own blogging, since he and Nikita first began to blog in 2oo2 and I began in 2010.
So hang on to your tails and stay tuned!
Good luck on your changes....we're purring that it's smooth sailing for you from now on.

Our first thought was that graphic sure looks familiar. And then we realized, oh, right, it is. :)
Sure hope things pick up for you, Kiril. You've persevered through a lot.
