On my birthday, in February, Sneakers shared a post and 5 photos about a surprise gift daddy got for me, as part of a review offer from a small, new, company that began making and producing toys for cats just last year.
At the time we promised to share our thoughts and photos of us testing the items, later.
The items were sent to us for free so we could test them and give our honest opinions.
Part one of our review is here.
Cats love chasing mice...the mousies being chased...not so much.
The great thing about mousie toys is they don't run from you or complain about being pounced upon!
Sneakers and I found ourselves very curious about the mouse.
This hand-made mouse is a great size for whapping and wrasslin', not to mention bite and claw as it is made of a durable natural twine material.
The fun part, something that got Sneakers, especially, excited, is that it rattles distinctly when you whap the sucker!
Balls are cool, some more so than others for a variety of reasons.
The balls offered by Natural Pet Company offer a prime example of this.
We like our balls without tails to hinder their ability to roll when thrown or when we whap them.
Sneakers loves it when she can grab the ball in her teeth and bring it back to daddy so he can toss it again.
The three hand-woven, wicker, balls each have a small bell, which jingles as it rolls. They also have silky ribbons attached. The jingle bells are a cool touch, but Sneakers had issues, issues I agreed with.
While she could find a grip for her teeth, to carry the ball, the fact the ball didn't roll as she likes and the ribbons got in her way, bothered her.
So, she asked an important question about the problem about the ribbons.
Nothing that a judicious use of a pair of scissors couldn't solve!
As you can see she was most happy with the result.
We still have the catnip to review and will get to it soon, I promise.
For now...
It looks like you girls had loads of fun with your new toys!

Those look like pawsome toys. I love balls, especially balls that don’t go far. The wand toys looked like fun too. I can’t wait till mine arrive!

Keeping my cat exercised and mentally stimulated doesn’t have to be a chore when using wands.
I try to spend about 10-15 min per day playing with Lulu. I also try to switch up the toys every day so she doesn't get bored.
