Tortie Tuesday: Elvira's Buttgate Update and a Mystery

Good morning felinity assembled! I'm still wearing my temporary fashion statement, as you can see.

Oh, and this sassy lady can hear the comments from the peanut gallery, from here, so watch it! Hee, hee!

I am taking my poop softener and antibiotics like a good girl, and am actually getting to enjoy it when Daddy Kiril puts the ointment on my boo boo.

I have figured out how to eat my kibble, drink from my water bowl, and get in and out of the litter box with the cone on my head. Me smart!

We have a little mystery, too!




On the morning of Novemeber 2nd we awoke to see this in the window by the cat tower and daddy's desk.

Daddy says he's not one who see's the image of Jesus in peach pie dough and I am not one to see images of Ceiling Cat in a pile of wet catnip but, do you see what we see?

Is Nikita letting us know he's watching out for us?

Never mind, and no, my meds are not spiked with something.

Anyway.....

 

I am worried about Daddy Kiril and about what will happen to us, even as we both put our minds together about the future of my writing and this blog.

He barely has enough green papers to pay the rent, his computer/phone (may actually be short a little), and annual Typepad blogging bills this week and will be broke by the weekend.

Without more hours from his temporary job, a 2nd job, or a new, better job December, then January will be a problem, even with the 2nd payment he will get soon for the Ideal Balance series.

He is checking into food stamps, looking for work and hoping for the best.

If he could find a cheaper apartment in a safe place, he'd consider moving, though he has a new 9 month lease on this apartment.

I know he is worried and I sleep next to him all night, to comfort him and keep watch.

I ask for your purrs and purrayers, not for me, I'm getting better, but for Daddy Kiril.

I am sending lots of purrs to your human! I hope some sort of work opens up for him that will bring in better money! With the holidays coming you would think there'd at least be good part time work somewhere temporarily… paws crossed!
