Hello, fellow felines and your humans! I am Mr. Nikita (On daddy's shoulder!). My protégé and I, the lovely Miss Elvira, think you will agree that, for cats the three most important meals of the day are breakfast, lunch and dinner, or, for grazers, having access to dry cat food 24/7 to eat when one wants.
We now turn over this space to our human, Daddy Kiril, to write the first in a twice monthly series (with a pair of giveaways!) about Hill’s Ideal Balance, a new, natural cat food that recently hit the market. (Introduction)
When it comes to food that does the best to support cat health it is important to consider proper balance in nutrients such as protein, fats, vitamins, minerals, and fiber. You may have noticed the striking silhouette of a cat against a burst of daybreak sunlight on the bag of Hill’s newest pet food at your pet store. It’s so different from other natural products and even Hill’s other brands that it’s worth it to learn more.
No corn, no wheat, no soy? Meat or fish protein the #1 ingredient? OK, that’s cool, but what else is there about it? Well, Hill’s own research found that pet parents wanted to see more fresh fruits, vegetables, and meat-based protein in their cat food, for one thing. This Hill’s natural cat food has great tasting natural recipes with optimal levels of over 50 nutrients. Not too much of this , not too little of that, an ideal balancing act of key ingredients meant to be tasty to hungry felines and assure their humans, and themselves that guy cats will look and feel their manly best and female cats will look and feel their sassy and attractive best.
There are recipes for kittens, adults and mature adults, as well as a grain free recipe for adults, all dry. There are 6 flavors of wet food and a Crunchy Naturals Real Tuna treat!
Ideal Balance has 100% balanced nutrition guaranteed, and they set about finding ways, in addition to the packaging, to let cat parents know.
The folks at Hill’s flew to Warsaw, Poland, where, with the help of a skilled production and animation team they created an amusing, short, informative commercial set in a hyper-realistic world of balanced nutrition for cats. We follow a live-action cat as it discovers the animated world of Ideal Balance. Along the way, it takes a journey through the balanced elements that make up Ideal Balance: Perfect proportions of what a cat needs to stay healthy – not too much, not too little (See how it was made and the dog version of the commercial, too!)
Positive reviews from cat parents are coming in. This sampling shows that the new Ideal Balance has been very well received:
“Our cats LOVED the food. I have never seen them devour something so quickly. I was very impressed with this product.” — Maya, cat owner
“My cat loves it! And the ingredient list makes me feel great feeding it to her. Good stuff. :-D” — Cassandra, cat owner.
For more there is a Facebook page where people can leave reviews and you can look up those for specific products

So, now you know a little more about this amazing new, natural pet food – bring some home, introduce your cat or cats to it, and see how a cat food that has natural ingredients perfectly balanced makes a difference to their health!
Hill’s Ideal Balance website offers all sorts of information on what the pet nutritionists at Hill’s put into the products, including where you can buy them, online or in your neighborhood – and you can even try it free with the rebate offer!

Very interesting and congratulations on this paid writing assignment. God bless the cats and the human in the Kundurazieff household!
Will there be one paid blog post each month for three months? (I did not quite understand the posted schedule on MM.) Was there an introductory blog post that I missed?
Will there be an upcoming blog post on the pros and cons of other cat food versus Hill's new all-natural ingredients? Do Nikita and Elvira eat Hill's? Does Daddy Kiril personally know of other cats that eat Hill's?

Thank you, Amanda!
Elvira and I are glad you found the introductory post to answer some of your questions.
I have eaten Science Diet, but do not at this time, and Elvira still does, both for current medical reasons.
As for a comparison blog post, for now, daddy will just refer people to look up the page on the Ideal Balance site that does an interesting comparison with 5 other well known brands.
I have tasted the new Ideal Balance wet food and like it, so Daddy may begin to toss it into the mix with my Fancy Feast from time to time, for more variety.
Elvira wants to try the Ideal Balance dry food, during the coursed of this series and if she takes a liking to it and the vet approves a switch from Science Diet Light, we shall see. :-D
