Good evening, felinity assembled!
In all the years that Daddy Kiril has been carrying his camera around with him, keeping a look out for cats on the street, one thing he always kept in mind was that, if he saw a flash of feline ass darting into some bushes, there was a chance, if he was lucky, that if he got close enough he might be able to get a picture of the cat who belonged to that ass staring back at him from the safety of those bushes.
Today was his lucky day!
Walking down Elmside street he approached a tree stump, just as a calico kitty darted into some bushes behind it.
Quickly taking his camera out daddy looked closely into the bushes, spotting his subject staring out at him.
The cat was not wearing a collar so it could just as easily have been a stray as a resident of a nearby apartment complex.

Always fun to glimpse cats on walks. It doesn't happen for us as much here in the inner city, but still a treat when we explore other neighborhoods in SF and the communities of the East Bay.
