Oh, Mr. Nikita, I'm so glad you're eating! Mom has been worried about you! Keep up the good work, and gain some weight so your Daddy and Miss Elvira can relax. Purrs from a grumpy cat.

We all sure send you our best purrs and prayers...and lots of gentle hugs too.

I'm glad to hear you are eating, Nikita! I'm sending more purrs your way.

Layla Morgan Wilde (Cat Wisdom 101)

We go through this with our kidney cat. Every bite is a victory. Purrs to you!

The Paw Relations

We're glad you're eating now. We hope that you start to feel better soon.

Nikita, we are very pleased that you are eating again, please keep it up, eat all you can old fella!

It might be worth getting a couple x rays of your paws done to see if there's anything going on there that is causing you discomfort that could put you off your foods. Just a thought.

Mr. Nikita

Thank you everyone!

I ate another jar last evening, before Daddy went to the movies, and when he returned after midnight...I insisted on a midnight snack (Another jar)!

Mr. Nikita

Gerry & Mungo...Not sure why my back legs look the way they do in that one picture, it's just the way I stand, to me, but Daddy will ask the vet about it.

Nikita, our ape thinks it might be due to arthritis, she's said she's seen it before in older pussies. Or it could just be the way you as an individual stand. We know you are a large framed fella and it could just be the stance that gives you the most stability whilst your muscles are older puss cat muscles.

The vet might ask you to walk about a bit so they can see your gait. Your Dad could maybe get some video of you moving about at home as whenever a cat goes to the vet and has to walk about, it is a matter of honour that we move totally normally! Adrenaline can mask a lot hehe!

Video? Hmmmmm....Maybe.

As long as he doesn't ask me to do the funky feline, or breakdance. :-D

I'm sure you've already had potassium checked, but that is how my Ivan was standing before potassium supplements.

Go Nikita, eat that baby food!

Kiril Kundurazieff

Susan, he'as had all sorts of blood tests, but the vet has never suggested supplemets for potassium. I may end up showing the pic to the vet for her thoughts.

Good job, Nikita! Keep right on eating, dear friend!!!

Samantha, Clementine & Maverick

Oh Nikita we are so glad you are eating!! We are sending purrrs and healing prayers to you, too!!
((((((((HUGGGGGSSSSSSSSS)))))) from your TX furiends,
