Good evening, Felinity Assembled!
Nikita, here.
This is a special post in our series.
Part one is here. :-D
A couple of days ago Elvira Mistress of Felinity and I went to our Vet to get our Health Certificates for the move and to say goodby to people we know and love as our long time healthcare givers.
Oh, and I got my annual Lion Cut for the summer (A good thing since summer lasts longer in TX!) :-D
Vet, author, and columnist, Dr. Elaine Wexler-Mitchell, founded the award winning practice in 1991 and Daddy first took me there soon after we moved to Santa Ana.
We wish to thank Dr. Starr and Dr. Page, as well as the rest of the staff, for taking such good care of us, we will miss you very much! :-D
Check out their website. There is a lot of useful info and links to be found there.
Those of you who have followed my blogging for years know that I have been getting this haircut for years.
I was a little embarrassed, the first time, but it quickly grew on me. :-D
One thing I like about it is the difference in my markings, when shaved, compared to what I look like in all my full-haired glory. ;-D
I wonder if some Texans, with its Cowboy Mystique, will think I'm some sort of sissified Ca. Kitty?
Don't worry, guys, the hair WILL grow back soon, I promise.
Regular readers of this blog, including our fans and friends, in Texas, know I'm as manly as they come! Tough and opinionated as can be!:-D

Saturday Morning Update: The Florida Furkids love the love, and wonder if I'm wearing Cowboy Boots...
Yes, that's it! Cowboy Boots! That's what they are, hee, hee! :-D
We think your haircut is pawsome! Are those cowboy boots you're wearing??

Exciting how things are progressing for your trip.
Hope you find as great a vet practice in TX as you had there.
We love our cat-only-clinic here.

Nikita, as of a few years ago Houston was supposedly the most air conditioned city in the world. You might well need a sweater for your travels.

It looks like everyone of you is all set for Texas and some new adventures.
We hope the move is smooth and we're looking forward to hearing from you when you are settled in.
Congrats on 700 posts!
