Daddy Kiril is posting this from the computer lounge at our Apt. complex, for us, since our computer is not scheduled to be up and running until tomorrow evening.

Boy do we have stories to tell and photos to share! :-D

We have finally begun to adjust and have even seen some of our feline neighbors, too, though Daddy has met them up close and personal, while we have not.

Oh, woe is us!

After 7 years of faithful service, and due no doubt to the trip from CA. to TX., Daddy's computer's Mother Board, up and died yesterday....

In the meantime we will try to post using the lounge computer, though with no photos, so the trip story will have to wait. :-(

Street Seens 55: Beto, A Single Dad and His Offspring

Good morning Felinity Assembled!

As you read this story, our last official "News" story from California, we will have landed in Houston, and made our way to our new home.

Daddy will have comforted us after the trip, fed us, and gotten us a respectable Litter Box, and allowed us to explore our new digs. :-D

We go out with a bang, in California, with the last chapter in a series of Street Seens, begun in May and June.

Sunday evening, as Daddy was taking stuff out to the garage, he got up close and personal with 2 of the kittens from this family and talked with some neighbors, in that part of the complex, who had been feeding the cats all summer.

It seems the Mom Cat had abandoned the family, leaving the Father Cat, named Beto by the residents who say he has been living in the complex for 2 years, to care for the kids.

Daddy had seen the kids several times, but didn't have his camera, unday this evening.

 

The kids are looking might nice, these days, and are quite friendly, as well. :-D

We hope that someone will eventually take them in and give them a Forever Home.

Meowsings Moves to Texas 7: Getting Used to Leashes and Harnesses

Earlier last week Daddy had us spend about 20 mnutes in leash and harness, to get used to them.

Everyone expressed their thoughts on the subject, as you can see. :-D

Meowsings Moves to Texas 6: Of Haircuts, Health Certificates and Thanks to Our Vet

A couple of days ago Elvira Mistress of Felinity and I went to our Vet to get our Health Certificates for the move and to say goodby to people we know and love as our long time healthcare givers.

Oh, and I got my annual Lion Cut for the summer (A good thing since summer lasts longer in TX!) :-D

 

Street Seens 54: Stirring Kitten Rescue at Our Vet!!!

Good evening Felinity Assembled! Nikita, here, and boy do I have a story to share!

Elvira Mistress of Felinity and I went to the vet, today, for check-ups and health certificates, as we prepare to move to Houston, TX, next week.

When Daddy told us what was going down in the lobby, while Elvira was being seen, and our paperwork finalized, I knew I had to share the tale.

4 young teen boys, 3 Hispanic, 1 Black, came in with this little guy who 1 had found in the bushes outside their school, after class, an hour before.

Apparently knowing about The Cat Care Clinic they came right away.

Daddy Kiril took Nikita for his physical, and health certificate, this morning and in an hour we leave to join him for mine, then the 3 of us return home. :-D
