Julie Obermiller, of Barker NY, has a website that shares stories about events going on in the community (Chatterbox collumn, Stroll Around Newfane Column, Hometown Happenings).
It's called Julie Says.
There is a Bark for Life event at a local park, next month, and one event occuring actually is for cats. :-D
Humans can enter their cats photos in the Kute Kitty contest with a small donation to the cause of raising money for the American Cancer Society.
Meet "Kit-Kit."
Daddy Kiril's friend, Randy Eady, has a sister named Karen and she entered a photo of her cat checking out Randy's toes. :-D
Randy Eady is a foot Chi specalist who helps people with Parkinsons, and other health issues and is known as The Foot Whisperer.
It appears, from the photo, that Kit-Kit wants to be one, too! :-D
You can learn more about Randy and his work, at these sites.

We've never met a real live foot whisperer before. Unless you count our Sammy, who for some reason, loves the dad's feet!

Thanks for the mention of my Kute Kitty Kontest! This event allows dog owners to bring their faithful companions, who are not allowed at the Relay For Life!
Our honorary survivor is a Weimeramer who went through 26 chemo treatments for Lymphoma!
We LOVE our pets, and I had to find a way for the kitties to join in the cancer fight!
Kit Kat's photo will be on display at the event on Aug. 5th and hopefully folks will put the most donations in Ki Kat's 'kitty' to make her the top cat winner!
Great site, by the way!!
