Good evening Felinity Assembled, I am Daddy Kiril, and welcome to a much abbreviated version of the Musical "Cats". :-D
When last I posted the show was over....and, now, the AfterPawty is in full swing!
(Coming in late? See the Introduction post, here)
After the show Salina (Baby Patches Mom), & I, made our way to the lobby, and connected with Kristen (Cokie Mom), who helped get an AfterPawty Ticket for Salina, and then the 3 of us made our Grand Entrance to the Pawty!
...And no-one even noticed! They ignored us, like we had a bad case of Fleas! :-D
Seriously...it wasn't much of an entrance, not when a dozen other people, dressed to impress, entered the same time we did, hee, hee! :-D
Just as along the Red Carpet, and in the theatre, there were more than a few people dressed in outfits worth more than I made in a week, working, and everyone was looking for the bar, and the desserts, and other munchies, and/or looking for a celebrity to chat, and pose with. :-D
We wandered around a bit, taking in the scene, noticing various performers from the show, and approached a corner where the lady from Rich Girl Productions was holding forth, interviewing people, with another Hartz Display for a backround.
She spotted me, and asked me over, and she was calm, and curious, and....experienced, skilled, interviewee that I now was, I handled this longer, more involved, encounter like the professional, PJ wearing, when I'm supervising, and & assisting Nikita's, & Elvira Mistress of Felinity's, blogging, journalist/Pundit that I am. :-D
Of course I forgot to have Salina take a photo, of the action, with my camera. :-D
We made it over to the bar where Salina got I don't remember what, and I tried for something with OJ in it that a friend suggest was a same idea...but ended up with a glass of wine, since no-one thought to bring OJ to this shindig. :-D
When we ran into Kristen again Salina had noticed one of the actors that she wanted to meet, but lost sight of him, and was desperately scanning the room in the hopes he hadn't left ( Yes, that's her, in the first picture, next to the lady in the black/white striped dress. :-D ).
No luck. :-D
Swag bags were there for the taking, music was playing, and people were dancing.
I ended up chatting about the blog with a couple of young ladies for a few minutes, and then saw an opportunity that was too good to pass up.
Actor, Comedian, Paul Vogt had played, to perfection, the, um, Pleasantly Plump, Cat About Town, Bustopher Jones. :-D
I approached him, and told him that I loved his performance, and would he pose for a picture that I could show my own Pleasantly Plump young Lady Cat at home? :-D
Salina wielded my camera to splendid effect. :-D
Finally, Salina, & I, called it a night, exited the building, walked a block south on Broadway to the lot where her car was, and headed home.
