The little known, to Humans anyway, First & a Half Amendment to the U.S. Constitution...
As regards to the Freedom of the Press to be, well, read on and, therefore, know your Rights! :-D
Congress shall make no law disrespecting the Right of Feline Kind to Snooze, or Nap on, or Play With, any newspaper, or pamphlet, or open book, in its vicinity, or prohibiting the free exercise of these activities; or abridging the freedom to pursue said pastimes, or the Right of Feline Kind peaceably to assemble, and to petition their Human for a redress of the lack of such literature within one's household.
****UPDATE - 3PM****
A longtime friend of Daddy Kiril, & I, and fan of my blogging since I began, though he is a Dog Person, who comments from time to time, named Jaspar, has passed along another bit of little known American History....
Jefferson, when writing the Declaration, wrote about
the "purrsuit of happiness." Later, before the final signing
and publication, "purrsuit" was mysteriously changed
to "pursuit."
This was the first major conspiracy in the history
of the US.
Jefferson's Cat tried desperately to keep the purr, but
lost out because an evil Brit Dog terrorist group was
holding a dozen Kittens hostage. Jefferson, a Cat
lover, paid the ransom: the extra "r" was dropped just
in time, and the Kittens were saved.
Now, hundreds of years later, the truth can finally be told.
Remember that a Cat influenced one of the most
important phrases in the sacred Declaration of
Independence!
You saw it here first! :-D
****END UPDATE****
