I can't stop purring!
I awoke from an evening Snooze, tonite, and checked out the traffic stats, and noticed something that led me to a very cool discovery.
Yet another local journalist likes me! ;-D
That makes 3, in addition to Art Pedroza!
Matt Coker, writing for the, always interesting (According to Daddy), Naval Gazing Blog at The OC Weekly, did another edition of what he calls a "look at things said from and about Orange County on the Interwebs".
Todays post focused on my home city of Santa Ana, which seemed to be recently making more than a few Humans cranky for a variety of reasons.
The really cool thing was that he used a post of mine to come to the defense of the County Seat!
The Cat's Meow After all the gloom and doom about Santa Ana, it's refreshing to find a post with the headline, "Street Seens 35: Responsible Parenting in Santa Ana." The positive parenting by a presumed father with two little ones was spotted in the French Park neighborhood. But it wasn't a family of mortals being observed. They were cats. (opinionatedpussycat)
Did I say that I can't stop purring?
Very cool! ;-D
Daddy thinks so, too.

I am very honored.
As I wrote in a comment Daddy has enjoyed The OC Weekly since before I was born, even though it sometimes makes him cranky (He says it far more often informs him, and makes him laugh, than not, though, & he even links to their website, and blogs, on HIS blog!)
I thanked Matt for taking notice of one of the most fascinating aspects of life in the OC, and even Long Beach, that we cover via the Daddy Cam, and promised to share encounters Daddy has, further afield, as the opportunity presents itself.
This praise of our work will be enshrined in my sidebar under "Praising the Pussycat".
It inspires us in our efforts to inform, and entertain, those curious enough to check my blog out.
Speaking of which...
I wish to sincerely, and humbly, welcome readers of Naval Gazing, and The OC Weekly, to my blog.
Before New Year's Day 2010 I shared space with Daddy on HIS Blogs for almost 8 years, but then he, finally, realized I needed a place of my own to expand on my efforts (Sometimes our Humans can be soooo slow on the uptake, um, hee, hee!).
I invite your exploration of this blog, and all it has to offer, and encourage you to leave comments, send me heads up on Cat related events, news, and stories, by e-mail, and to let your Cat loving friends know about me.
There is nothing like what I do here in all the Critter Blogosphere (Even PETA, reluctantly, thinks I'm "Clever", um, hee, hee!), and that is something I am very proud of. ;-D
Wisdom appears ! ;-D
