Well, it now appears that the U.S. Government doesn't want certain of its employees to have access to certain types of websites from Government Computers.
Humans, of all persuasions, are having Hissy Fits over this, some are even bringing out their claws.
Meanwhile, others think it ain't worth the upset, and go off to take a nap, or snooze, or something. ;-D
I have my own thoughts about the subject...
From the blog of Michelle Malkin, via CBS News, and Drudge:
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is blocking certain websites from the federal agency’s computers, including halting access by staffers to any Internet pages that contain a “controversial opinion,” according to an internal email obtained by CBS News.
The email was sent to all TSA employees from the Office of Information Technology on Friday afternoon.
It states that as of July 1, TSA employees will no longer be allowed to access five categories of websites that have been deemed “inappropriate for government access.”
The categories include:
• Chat/Messaging
• Controversial opinion
• Criminal activity
• Extreme violence (including cartoon violence) and gruesome content
• GamingThe email does not specify how the TSA will determine if a website expresses a “controversial opinion.”
It also does not specify if such "controversial opinion" includes those expressed by Cats, such as yours truly. ;-D
Content filtering? By the TSA?
What the heck?
They don't want them to read "Controversial Opinion" such as this?

Beans are so confusing.
They should learn to mean what they say, and say what they mean, like us Cats do.

If you're not on their side, you're controversial.
If you are on their side, you're still controversial until thoroughly investigated, and approved, by the Cats for NonControversy Committee.
