Yesterday afternoon, upon stepping outside to go get the mail, saw a local couple hanging out on the second floor, and he quickly got his camera.
But, it was what was said between them, before they noticed him, and flew off, that stunned, and intrigued, him...
Our little Domestic Drama, so far...Intruder Alert! Daddy's Found a Kitten! Or Vis a Versa, I don't know!
ARCHIE: Edith, how am I going to explain what I did for the poor, scared, Kitten, to the guys at the League?
EDITH: Archie, I thought what you did was sooo brave! Just tell them the truth, you have NOTHING to be ashamed of.
ARCHIE: I know.
We have both seen her out here, before, several times.
She looked so damn lost, and vulnerable, like I did the first time I ventured from the n...well, um, OH HELL!
I just thought it would be best for all of us if she didn't grow up to be an outdoor Cat is all...
EDITH: You are just an Old Softy, don't deny it!
It's why I really DO so love you, Darling.

Daddy says that the sight of a bird blushing is truly a thing of beauty, and he would have gotten a picture, but they spotted him, and took off before he could question, or even thank, them.
From what the Little One has been able to remember, of that night, she is unclear of how she made it to the second floor, and our door, and who might have help get there.

Daddy, like the fictional Dr. Doolittle, understands the words of many critters, and the things he's heard them say, about Cats especially, have always been interesting to me.
Far too many Humans have no clue how often Cats come up in conversations among other animals...now Daddy, and I, set out to reveal what is going on right under their noses. ;-D
It is a mystery.
Maybe someday we will know.
But the important thing is she got up there.
She certainly picked the right place!!!

BTW, great photo.
Wish you had heard more of the conversation.
But isn't that what I always say!!!!

We think Archie and Edith knew what they were doing when they picked your Daddy!
