The following occurred, a block from the famous Hoag Hospital, in Newport Beach, Ca., this morning, June 17th, 2010, at around 815am.
Daddy had just gotten off the bus, on his way to Hoag Hospital to have the Holter Monitor taken off his chest, when he saw a Squirrel scamper quickly from the bushes, and pick up a crumb.
Suddenly, a Crow landed nearby, and furtively asked him a question.
After getting an answer he flew to a nearby rooftop, and the Squirrel dashed into the bushes.
Daddy was about to continue on his way when he heard an urgent call from the bushes.
By then the Crows were no longer on the roof, or even within earshot.
What the Squirrel had to say was, um, quite interesting. ;-D
Talk about Survival of the Fittest!
Squirrels, in Orange County, Ca., anyway, can take care of themselves (If these Az. critters, legitimately endangered, it seems, were given the money, directly, would they, um, squirrel it all away for a rainy day? Just wondering...)! ;-D
NOTE: For more from the Daddy Cam see the Archive!
Daddy, like the fictional Dr. Doolittle, understands the words of many critters, and the things he's heard them say, about Cats especially, have always been interesting to me.
Far too many Humans have no clue how often Cats come up in conversations among other animals...now Daddy, and I, set out to reveal what is going on right under their noses. ;-D
Seen & Heard: Critters With Cats on the Brain

LOL!
That put a grin on our human's face, something she definitely needed.
Thanks! :-)

I always knew those squirrels were sneaky, and crows weren't as bright as they like to think they are!
