Maybe it was seeing so many Cats in one day, or maybe not, but Daddy arrived at work, yesterday, with the beginnings of a headache that got worse as the evening went on.
On top of that Daddy's body, already sore in his knees, has gotten worse in his legs, arms, and shoulder, since the treadmill test earlier in the week, and an awkward dismount from his bike, to get a newspaper, a block from work didn't help matters at all.
When he got home, at 1230am, this morning, he was a mess, and I finally managed to tuck him into bed by 130am.
When he awoke, nothing had changed, and so I did the only thing I could think of...
and licked his face. ;-D
Poor Daddy!
He's afraid to take an Advil, or Tylenol, until he talks with his Doctor on Monday, because he has no idea how it would react to sharing space in his bloodstream with the anti-seizure medication.
OK, knowing that Pussydom Assembled might be about to collectively freak out, let me assure you that I've got things reasonably under control, and that, you need something to smile, and laugh about, this Father's Day Weekend.
Nurse Nikita's orders! No back talk! ;-D
Let's get things stared with a Sing-a-Long!

This next is for dear KC, most especially...
The other day KC left a comment about the hat Daddy wears:
"Our Daddy Charley has a hat like that. When he takes it off, we try to sleep on it.
You oughta try that, Nikita, once you gets it flattened out, it's akshully comfortable."
I tried to put it on my head, but just couldn't make it work. ;-D
While I didn't manage to flatten it, it WAS comfortable to lay in. ;-D
It's Daddy's Day Weekend, and I'm spending it caring for my Daddy (When he's not at work.), and doing what he would want me to do...take my friends mind off our troubles, and any they might have of their own, with song, and laughter. ;-D
If you got one, snuggle up with your Human Daddy and, if you can pull it off, lick his face...but good! ;-D
Oh, and 2 more things!
I host Weekend Cat Blogging, next week, so help me cheer Daddy up by making it the best one ever! ;-D
There also is still plenty of time to join me for the next Bad Kitty Cats Festival of Chaos, on July 4th!
Details, here! ;-D

I'm glad you've got things under control, Nikita!
Although I'm sure your human would also appreciate more face licking from the other blogosphere cats, since he has to do without the Tylenol for now.

We hope the licks make your daddy feel better.
Eric: I woke my dad up with hair licks to say happy Father's Day to him. I think he liked it, but he didn't seem so happy that I was lying on his face to do it.

Nikita that hat suits you although if a lady cat may say something - whispers -"don't you think you need a smaller one as that one covers your handsome face" - No offence meant.
Keep purring on your Daddy and he's sure to feel better!
Have you thought of making biscuits on his ouchie bits?
That's sure to help!
