Everyone's favorite Opinionated Pussycat, here! ;-D Next Sunday, the 13th, I host Carnival of the Cats! (Update: - 13th - Carnival is up!) On the 4th of July I host Bad Kitty Cats Festival of Chaos! Come on, Kitties! Everyone is invited! Don't spend all your time Snoozing, and Napping! ;-D Make new friends! Way back, when the various Kitty Carnivals began, lots of Kitties prowled their pages, and I mean LOTS! Where did everyone go? Snoozing? Napping? 'Nipping? The Humans have this saying about how too much of a good thing might not be so good, so how about some moderation in those glorious purrrsuits? Hee, hee! ;-D The other day I spread the word about 3 wonderful posts, full of advice, on Blog Paws, and I encourage you to check them out. Blog Paws Series on Attracting Readers, and Comments, and Reaching Out, a Must Read! The rest of this year I aim to do more of those things they talk about that I've always done, and do some of the things, they suggest, that I might not have tried before. ;-D The Cat Blogging Fraternity is a vital, fun, supportive, and informative one, in all its variety, what with Facebook, Catster, Twitter, YouTube, and other Video, and Social Networking, sites, playing their own vital roles in this success. New Cat Bloggers are adding their voices every day, and I encourage the newcommers not to be shy, and introduce themselves. ;-D Share your stories, why don't you? ;-DHello Catdom Assembled!

Carnival of the Cats is a weekly roundup of cat-related posts on weblogs, in America, & around the world, who choose to submit a post for inclusion.
For us Cat Bloggers the Carnival is a chance to discover blogs we might never have heard of, on subjects of all kinds, & you can learn more about the carnival, & how to participate, here.

Have you, or some other Feline of your acquaintance, been a Baaad Kitty this month (Even if it HAS only been just over a week!), or are you, and them, planning to be, but don't know it yet? Are you, or your Human, going to blog about it? ;-D Confession is good for the soul, you know! ;-D Honest! Look at that adorable face! No, not the one up top, the one below! (I was much younger in the first one!) Would I lie to you? ;-D Your next opportunity to share your storys with the Cat Blogging Community, & the world at large, will be right here on Sunday July 4th, Independence Day! You have until Thursday Midnight, June 30th to not only still post something, if you haven't already, this month, but to submit the post (OR POSTS!) in time for the 4th when I post the Festival around 7pm PST! But wait! Since it's a Holiday, and we Felines are nothing if not Independent, hee, hee, I want you to check out one of the Themes, below, for posting, on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd of July! Submissions are accepted all month long! Bad Kitty was founded, by its originators, with the goal that it would be something where creativity and friendships were sparked across the Cat Blogging World. The Bad Kitty Home Page has sections that tell more about its history, about being a host, and a lengthy Q & A about submissions, as well as links to previous editions so you can get a flavor for the fun. Suggested Themes: 1. June is Adopt A Shelter Cat Month! Were you a Shelter Kitty? I was! ;-D I was born in March 1998 and not long afterwards my Mom, and her litter, found themselves in a cage at the Humane Society, in Pomona, Ca.. One day, a month later, the Human who became my Best Bud wandered in and when I saw him I just KNEW we were destined for each other. Do you have a story to tell? If you were a Bad Kitty at the time, all the better, but you didn't have to be. ;-D 2. The 20th is Father's Day! Do you have a story about your Father? Your Feline Dad, or your Human Daddy, it doesn't matter, and if you, or your Feline Daddy, were a Bad Kitty, all the better, but neither of you had to be. ;-D 3. If you are planning some Independence Weekend Posts for the 1st, thru the 3rd, submit away, and don't forget to go back, and include a link in it to anything you post for the 4th itself. If you are a Bad Kitty, all the better, but just being a well behaved Patriotic Pussycat is fine, too. ;-D If I get lots of submissions, and have to work my tail off (Hint, Hint!), then I will post Bad Kitty on the evening of the 5th. ;-D Okay, time for a nap!
