Daddy was in line, at the Petsmart on 17th in Santa Ana, this afternoon, when a young lady approached with a very opinionated bundle of fur in her arms, and peeking out from a blanket.
While the cashier held it a moment she prepared to pay for her purchases.
The kitten, whose sex he forgot to ask about, was quite outspoken in its opinion of the situation it found itself in, and Daddy, fluent in Felinese as he is, was quite impressed with the, um, colorful, vocabulary of the youngster. ;-D
No, I won't print the words here.
I don't want to educate any human kids, or kittens, in the audience. ;-D
Try 2, or 3, weeks. ;-D
The young woman said that she was fostering the kitten until it was ready for adoption.
Daddy told her that I was a blogger with a site full of useful links for Cat lovers, owners, and caregivers, and wrote the info down for her since he forgot to bring a long some of my cards.
He then asked if he could hold the little darling, and have his picture taken with it.
As soon as the kitten was in his arms Daddy snuggled it, and spoke soothing words of sympathy, and encouragement, and the frightened little bundle of curiosity, energy, and powerful lungs, suddenly quieted, and lay in his arms as its Human Caretaker took a photo. ;-D
Daddy wished the little one the best of luck, and they were gone.
Daddy, and I wonder if, in a year, or 2, this unnamed Kitten will, with the help of a loving Human Companion in its Forever Home, begin to make a name for itself in the Cat Blogging Community, and if it will have any memory of this meeting in a pet store? ;-D
Or...will it become a "Bad Kitty" living a life of struggle, and crime, on the streets?

That is such a cute kitty.
I sure hope it found a good home.
Have a great day.
