No, this isn't a love story...at least from what Daddy was told it isn't. ;-D
January 24, 2010 - 230pm, Long Beach, Ca.
Daddy was pedaling on his way to work, yesterday afternoon, when he spotted this Cat hanging out on a fence.
Meet Nigel, age 4, formally feral, acclimated to an indoor life, but on his own terms.
Daddy got off his bike, and slowly walked toward the fence, hoping to get close enough for an interview but, after thinking it over for a split second Nigel decided he didn't want to have anything to do with the "Paparazzi". ;-D
That's twice in 2 days he's had this effect on Felines. ;-D
No matter, as Daddy started to leave he spotted a young lady, and man, sitting on the porch of the house, and asked if the Cat was theirs, and the woman said the Cat was hers, and told him about Nigel.
She had rescued him as a feral kitten and, via a Cat Door, and the entrace in the picture, Nigel goes where he pleases, when he pleases.
He has a brother who prefers the feral life, and only extremely reluctantly, and briefly, puts up with being indoors.
Daddy gave her my card, and explained about the useful websites about ferals, and Cat care in general, that I have in the sidebars, encouraging her to explore them for information that she could use in caring for her friends.
On the opposite side of the house, from Nigel, Daddy spotted another Cat, also a companion to the young woman.
Meet the beautiful Natasha.
A 19 year old Siamese that the woman has cared for all its life, mostly as an indoor kitty.

19 Years old?
Goodness gracious. She aged well!
Looks like Nigel likes the "cougar" cats!
