Good evening, felinity assembled, Nikita here with a story that has to be seen to be believed.
A few days ago daddy went on a bike ride and saw a variety of animals obsessed with cats, and one that, well, just follow along...
When he came upon the scene some humans has stopped their cars and helped a jaywalking tortoise out of a major street and back to the sidewalk.
The poor thing was so confused that it required 2 humans to carry him all the way back to the open gate of the home it lived at.
While it was profuse (for a tortoise) with gratitude, daddy didn't tell the humans what the creature said because he knew they wouldn't believe him.
After the humans left daddy was about to get on his bike when he saw this tortie in the yard.
There was another cat in the window of the home! The outdoor cat gave daddy such a 'tough kitty" look that he had to wonder if it was responsible for letting the tortoise out for some reason. Neither cat was in a mood to talk.
As for the concerns of the birds and squirrels...yes, there WAS a cat just down the street from them.
Did the dog know this and was he having a little fun with the birds?
NOTE: For more from the daddy cam see the archive!
Daddy, like the fictional Dr. Doolittle, understands the words of many critters, and the things he's heard them say, about cats especially, have always been interesting to us.
Far too many humans have no clue how often cats come up in conversations among other animals...now daddy, and Meowsings, set out to reveal what is going on right under their noses.
