Good morning, Elvira Mistress of Felinity,
At 0700 Central Standard Time, after breakfast has been served and the human, known to you as Daddy Kiril, is sitting at his desk checking his messages, and Facebook.....
Your mission Miss Elvira, should you choose to accept it, will be to do something that he would never expect in a million years, and make him smile to start the day. As always, should you be caught before completion of your mission, you will disavow any plan on your part to do what the human, Daddy Kiril, asks you if you were going to do.

Our Secret Paws gift, for Christmas, was a nice little tower with a toy to bat around, 2 scratching posts, and a hammock.
Nikita pretty much wants nothing to do with it, while I have liked everything about it except the hammock....
Until today.
I have no clue what has made me change my mind, virtually overnight.
All I know is that I succeeded in getting in the hammock and snoozing, for a good hour; before Daddy Kiril even noticed I was doing so!
The look of total surprise on Daddy’s face was priceless, and he’s been smiling most of the day because every time he looks toward the hammock there I am asleep in it, or looking out the window at the rain.
I have spent most of the day except for breakfast, dinner, and litter box runs, in that hammock, and still have no clue what prompted me to do it.
Maybe I was influenced by a late night dream, who knows?
I knew you would take to it eventually, Elvira... and take it over! You ARE a tortie, after all. ;-)

Sparkle, I think it may have something to do with why I like napping on the folding chair by the table at the head of Daddy's bed..., and why I like snoozing under his chair at the desk.
I'm close to Daddy, and I feel comfortable in those places.
Maybe the hammock will take the place of one or both places, it's too soon to say.
