Has it been almost 8 months since I wrote a 100 Word Cat Story, and almost 9 since Elvira did so?
Wow...Well, it's been a difficult year around here, as you know, and we both apologize, and hope to finally get back on track creatively.

A couple of days ago Daddy Kiril let us romp with the Boogie Mats and, let it be admitted here and now, like with Humans, getting high can inspire, um, interesting creative efforts out of Felines...hee, hee!
At the Start....
At the start there was Felinity Assembled.
Ceiling Cat created cat trees and boogie mats. Life was good.
Cat trees were tall and short, the better to accomodate brave and scaredy cat alike.
Ceiling Cat said, "Let there be catnip";
and a high time was had by all.
Life became delightful.
Ceiling Cat said, "Let there be belly rubs";
He invented Humans to do the rubbing.
Celing Cat gave Humans knowledge of food bowl filling, and litter box cleaning.
Life was glorious!
Celing Cat said, "Let there be naps and snoozes";
A life of comfort and eternal bliss, was set.

We all need some light-hearted reading from time to time. Good play on the religious "let there be" for cats. Loved it.
