Carnival of the Cats is a weekly roundup of Cat-related posts on weblogs, in America, and around the world, who choose to submit a post for inclusion.
For us Cat Bloggers the Carnival is a chance to discover blogs we might never have heard of, on subjects of all kinds!
The Carnival Home Page, with an archive of past Carnivals, the Line-up for 2012, FAQ'S, and more, is HERE.
Hey there! Nikita here, with this week's Carnival. :-D
In just a few days it will be Independence Day in America and to get everyone in the mood I want to share a little parody to a great folk song shared on her facebook by our Cat loving friend, Rahel, from Elms in the Yard in Israel. :-D
As she explained: The neighbor's cat chased an interloper out of the yard as I was coming home from work. As her fluffed-up tail slowly returned to normal, I found myself thinking up a parody of Woody Guthrie's "This Land Is Your Land":
This yard is my yard
It isn't your yard
If you don't get off
I'll yowl my head off
I've got some sharp claws
They're sharper than yours
This yard is mine and mine alone!
With the entertainment out of the way, let's get this show on the road!
8. Elvira & I check out a new book Daddy got! It's about writing, but also about Cats, too! :-D
