The Carnival of the Cats is a weekly roundup of Cat-related posts on weblogs, in America, and around the world, who choose to submit a post for inclusion.
For us Cat Bloggers the Carnival is a chance to discover blogs we might never have heard of, on subjects of all kinds!
The Carnival Home Page, with an archive of past Carnivals, the Line-up for 2011, FAQ'S, and more, is HERE.
Before we begin I wish to express our deepest condolences to Pet's Garden Blog, who was scheduled to host this past weekend, but suffered a loss of a loved one in the Humans family, a couple of weeks ago, and have not blogged since.
Please join us in letting them know they have the support of their friends in blogging in their time of sadness.
So let's get this show on the road!
1. From the Veterinarian Colleges website are "25 Tips and Tricks to Help Your Pets Slim down".
As the writer explains:
"As many already know, the obesity epidemic is growing in movement and in
patients. However, what many don’t know is that is it also spreading to the pet
population. According to the Association for Pet Obesity Prevention, there are 84
million overweight or obese cats and dogs in the United States and the number
shows no signs of stopping or slowing."
Many of the links are related to Cats, so check them out!
As Patti says: "As T.S. Eliot wrote, the naming of cats is a difficult matter." ;-D
