The Carnival of the Cats is a weekly roundup of Cat-related posts on weblogs, in America, and around the world, who choose to submit a post for inclusion.
For us Cat Bloggers the Carnival is a chance to discover blogs we might never have heard of, on subjects of all kinds!
The Carnival Home Page, with an archive of past Carnivals, the Line-up for 2011, FAQ'S, and more, is HERE.
A whole lotta Happy to one & all! Lincoln had a birthday, and everyone else was making nice with their sweetie, for Valentine's Day. ;-D
So let's get this show on the road!
The Big News at our house, aside from it being Elvira's 1st Birthday on Tuesday, is that she has begun a whole new, ongoing series of posts!
She's a Big Girl, now, and is beginning to stretch her paws a bit more on the blog.
Last Sunday, I let her do the 400th post, on this blog, so she could debut her column.
This afternoon, she posted Round 2!
In that post she calls a prominent local journalist, and author, a Knucklehead!
Why? You will just have to read The Elvira Factor #2 in order to find out! (There is a link to EF #1 included.) ;-D
Oh, and she wrote him a note to let him know of the honor she bestowed on him. ;-D
Popi is brand new to blogging!
She is a volunteer at a Cat Charity, and explains about the Strays of Athens, and the purpose of her blog:
As a city, Athens holds countless delights. One of the most unmistakable and charming of these is its stray cat population. For the most part these cats started out as unwanted pets, dumped on the streets by their soulless owners. As a result over-breeding and illness is rife. Charities like Nine Lives who I volunteer for, are working tirelessly to neuter, feed, and care for these cats. This blog will introduce you to many of the colourful characters of the Athens feline scene.
Welcome to The Cat Blogosphere!
Welcome to The CB!
5. Over at the blog of one of our OC Neighbors, The Real Housecats of Orange County, Dr. Wright discusses The Litter Box Blues, and gets so wrapped up in the discussion that she ends up bursting into song about it! ;-D
6. An animal lover named Liz, inexplicably obsessed with the feline species since age 4, finally took up blogging about it last November, hee, hee! (Welcome to The CB!)
She's also a holistic nutritionist and writer but that's OK...Some Humans need other activities to take their mind occasionally off their obsessions. ;-D
She shares a post about natural remedies for Hairballs. There are such things? Well, imagine that! ;-D
The pictures are cool, and the report is very interesting.
Daddy thinks attending a Pet Writing Conference, and meeting other Cat Bloggers would be very cool.
For now he's taken a Leap of Faith, and purchased his ticket for Blog Paws in August, & hopes to find ways to let more Cat Lovers know of this blog in the meantime. ;-D
The thoughts, and prayers, of Daddy, Elvira Mistress of Pussydom, and I, go out to KC, and Mom ML, during these trying times for them.
14. On Tortie Tuesday, at our home, Elvira Mistress of Pussydom squared off against Big Foot! ;-D
That's all for this week!
