In case you have been on vacation, or hiding under the bed, in a closet, in your tower, or crinkle cave, or tunnel, for a month....the rumors are true, and you are not seeing a vision produced by a Catnip High...
Daddy, and I, 2 happy bachelors, have allowed a woman into the house. ;-D
Miss Elvira, is 6 months old, and recently, um, had her ability to engage in Hanky Panky surgically taken care of. ;-D
It has been a month now, since we rescued her, and boy has she grown!
In size, and curiosity, and playfulness.
I have lost 2 lbs, in the past month, from 16 to 14 lbs., because of her. ;-D
After this very trying week, for The Cat Blogosphere, I want to bring smiles back to everyone's faces....
In between naps, and snoozes I daily, and nightly, amuse myself watching Elvira romp around the apartment, running thru the tunnels, and caves, and in, up, and out, of the tower.
Other times I play hard to get when she wants to play directly with me, but we always end up playing Whack a Paw at the stroller, or elsewhere, and even getting into a noisy bout of chase, whack, and wrassle that has Daddy wondering if I am mad at Elvira, and about to kick her ass...but good. ;-D
She thinks she is sneaking up on me, behind my back, extending her paws to touch my back, head, or tail, especially my tail, in an effort to get my attention.
It really is amusing (And sometimes a bit exasperating -What's with the Tail Fixation, Girl?)...especially when she rolls on her back, exposing her tummy, with a silly grin on her face, and lets loose with her tiny cute meow, begging me to play. ;-D
This morning, after Daddy got home from work (She heads to the front window in a flash when she hears Daddy come up the stairs, jingling the keys!), and fed us, she tried to sneak up on me, yet again, as I looked out the back window....
I may be 12 years old, young lady....but my reflexes are quicker than ever. ;-D
It's never boring, now, when Daddy is away.
I feel young again (Though I've still not been tempted to run into the caves, or tunnels) ....
And it's all Elvira's fault! ;-D
Nikita - you've lost 2 pounds - you'll be off to a shadow of your former self if that carries on.
Is that just with running around or have you been weight training too?
We're pleased you are enjoying Elvira's company while your Daddy is working.

Looks like little Elvira just fit right into your lives.
She does indeed worship her "big brofur" Nikita and her Daddy Kiril.
And I suspect they feel the same toward her.
How exciting to have been a part of this since it began...

Though, if she continues to daintily Lick HER, um, This, or That, when she thinks I'M not looking...then all bets are off!. ;-D
