Daddy saw the cardiologist today, but I'll get to that in a minute.
First, though, I must tell you about Daddy's new 4-in-1, Black & White, Printer!
When he brought it home, last week, I was napping.
I was awakened by a ripping noise as Daddy opened the box.
I sat up in the stroller, turned around, and gazed in puzzlement at the box.
Damn, but it was HUGE! ;-D
Anyway, according to the box it was called a Brother MFC-7340, and is a Laser Printer, Copier, Scanner, and Fax.
He got it on sale at Office Depot.
That's my Daddy, smart as a whip!
And some folks think an almost 30 year old college degree did him no good. ;-D
Anyway, of course I had to go take a look! ;-D
Oh, and a sniff, and nibble, the box! ;-D
Despite appearances, and the words on the box, I was not too sure what was in that wrapping at first, but once he got it out of the box all was revealed.
Daddy set it up, and installed everything, without my help, which is further proof that he is smart, and really DOES have a brain! ;-D
After a week, of both of us using the thing, we are very pleased with it. ;-D
Anyway, enough about the new office equipment, and on to the latest news about Daddy!
As I wrote previously Daddy got an MRI done the other day.
He then arrainged for an appointment with a Cardiologist, which he went to this morning.
First, however, he had to spend all day, yesterday, running around to a hospital, and his Primary Physicians office to collect a bunch of documents the office people at the cardio place said he needed.
He began the day by going to his polling place to vote, and saw a very pre-occupied Cat, which he took pictures of for the next edition of Street Seens, which I will post later this evening. ;-D
The MRI Report concluded that, despite the claim of my t-shirt worn to the test, there was no acute abnormality in the noggin, no hemorrhaging, and that my temporal lobes & hippocampal regions, while symmetrical, are quite unremarkable, and that my Corpus Callosum has Partial Agenesis, which is nothing to get excited about. It seems the CC is mildly hypogenetic, and its Splenium, & Rostrum are somewhat small, not to mention that the Patent Cavum Septum Pellucidum et Vergae is also small.Well, hell, combine all this smallness, with the fact my Sella is partially empty, I don't know whether this news is an afront to my Manliness, or not!Imagine all the snickers among the women folk..."Oh, him? I hear he's got a puny Patent Cavum Septum Pellucidum et Vergae, so I'd think hard about it if he asks you out...just sayin' is all, girl friend!"At least my brain isn't considered abnormal! ;-D
That is an awful lot of tests your human has to go through!
And it doesn't sound like they are finding much.
I think there must not be a lot wrong with him if he was able to install a multifunction laser printer without your help!

Hi Nikita and Daddy:
We have examined the doctors findings, and are as puzzled as they are.
Perhaps, Nikita, you need to eat some of your Daddy's food for him so he loses some weight - has he been stealing your treats to nom?
Perhaps you could also get him to jump up on furniture, and climb trees, and fences, to get him in tip top form!

Not finding things wrong is good, but it's always nice to have an "answer" to what happened.
We hope they find something simple for the cause of the seizure.
They never found any thing wrong with our Dad.
Does your Dad have a 6 month driving restriction?

Nikita, you must be exhausted after helping your Dad so much.
I hope you got to keep that cathederal sized box too.
Were you printing out pictures of your Dad's brain?
Glad there's nothing sinister, and your Dad is ok. Yay!

We're glad to know your dad has some positive news.
Now if they could only figure out what the problem is/was.
Looks like you're taking good care of your dad, and are being a good help to him.
We have an old laser printer (black only, no color) and we love it.
Didn't know it comes as a 4-in-1 now.
How neat!

Hannah & Lucy, Daddy has not been stealing my treats, and I'm helping him find better things to eat. ;-D
Thought he HAS been known to jump on the bed with me, tree climbing is not something he's ever done much.
However, he plans to get back to his bike riding, and do more hiking and, I'll take him out for more strolls, of course. ;-D

Sniffle, Daddy never has been a Car Human, ever.
In Southern Ca. that makes him weirder than the usual weirdness found here, to some, hee, hee! ;-D
He walks, bikes, and busses, everywhere.
His parents walked, and bussed. ;-D

Sadly, Whicky, the box has been put in the garage.
Yes, I've been helping Daddy do the printing that he's been doing, and it's real cool! ;-D

Nothing wrong, so far, KC, and as I updated above, his tests are set for next week!
