In April 1998 I found my Forever Home.
I was a month old, and as the month wound down there came a day when I had to come out of seclusion, tentatively explore my surroundings, and interact more closely with my soon to be Mentor...the Cat I affectionately remember as "The Old Man", and "The Warrior".
That day was April 22, 1998, and above is my earliest photo.
In just a few hours I turn 12 years old... it's in the bag, or um, drawer, or, well it's in something (Those 2 pics are from early 1999, and I had grown considerably!)!
As part of the weekend-long celebration Daddy brought out some very old photos that bring back many pleasant memories for both of us.
I grew teary-eyed just looking at them! :..)
